Community Involvement
The St. Mary’s School community is bonded through prayer and worship. Mass, planned by our students and staff, is held weekly in our parish church. Children of all ages participate in Mass. Social justice is promoted by involving the students in activities such as collecting food for the local food shelf, visits to the nursing home, school collections for the missions and those in need, and our annual Christmas Giving Tree where students purchase gifts for those less fortunate. Our semi-annual Student Seminar Day brings in speakers on a variety of topics related to social justice. Our parish is closely connected to San Lucas Toliman in Guatemala and many of our students and staff have traveled to the mission to work with the people there.
