Service is at the heart of a St. Mary’s education.
Service can take on many forms and St. Mary’s students have the opportunity to put their faith into action each day. By creating a community that lives as faithful disciples of Christ, we can take small steps to change the world and build the next generation of Catholics.
How Service is Lived at St. Mary’s:

Student-Led Worship
Students actively participate in planning and celebrating weekly Mass, learning that faith is lived through action and service to others

Serving the Local Community
Through initiatives like trick-or-treating for the Sleepy Eye Food Shelf, students support families in need and learn the value of generosity and compassion.

Global and Mission Support
The Box of Joy collection of Christmas gifts for children around the world helps students understand their role in serving the broader community beyond St. Mary’s.

Caring for Our Elders
Students spend meaningful time with their “grandfriends” at Divine Providence, spreading joy and building respectful, caring relationships with the elderly.

Faith in Action
Service opportunities are woven into school life, teaching students that social justice and service are essential parts of living out their faith.

Life-Saving Community Service
By hosting blood drives for the American Red Cross, our school community supports lifesaving efforts and demonstrates the importance of service and responsibility to others.
