SCRIP = Tuition Savings
SCRIP is a fundraising program that allows you to earn “free money” to lower your tuition costs and support the school. “Free money” is earned every time you purchase SCRIP gift certificates and cash cards for groceries, gas, clothes, and gift purchases that you make every day. You purchase the SCRIP certificates for full face value and receive full face value when you redeem them at the participating retailers. The school buys the SCRIP at a discounted price and that discount, which turns into a profit, is split between the family and the school.
Check out https://www.raiseright.com for a complete list of retailers. (Look for “Brands” on the top center of the page and then “Sort” on the bottom right. Then choose how you would like to see them listed…Most Popular, Name (A-Z or Z-A) or Highest Earnings.) You can also buy scrip online.

Provides the convenience of shopping from home at any time of day or night.
Families can begin to accumulate tuition credits from SCRIP even before their children are in school (both using the traditional SCRIP purchasing method and the on-line method).
Relatives and friends from across the country can order SCRIP and support St. Mary’s through this program; HOWEVER, all orders will still be delivered to St. Mary’s Catholic School, Sleepy Eye, unless you are choosing an eGift Card or ship to home.
How Do I Order SCRIP Online?
- Go to the website: https://www.raiseright.com
- Register your family as a SCRIP user by clicking on the “Sign Up” tab in the top right corner.
- Enter the St. Mary’s Catholic School code: 356L843C92L under “Join an existing program”. Then click “Join a Program”. This ensures that St. Mary’s and your family gets the SCRIP credit for your order.
- Once you are registered, you will be able to use this website to order your SCRIP. You will log in as a member and be able to narrow selections by: Category, Card Type, Denomination, and more!
- Decide on which SCRIP businesses you can use for gas, food, clothing, travel, gifts, etc…including the local businesses that you support on a regular basis.
- Place your order on-line. You will have the option to securely connect a bank account, pay by credit card or checks may be sent to school. (Setting up a bank account or paying by credit card will allow you to use the eGift Card feature without the need for physical cards. You may also utilize the Scrip mobile website for your phone at www.RaiseRight.com/app which uses the same log-in and password as your RaiseRight account.)
- Your order will be delivered to St. Mary’s Catholic School, unless you choose “eGift Card”…then you will receive a link from your email to access and use your scrip within minutes!

How to I order SCRIP directly from the school?
- Complete a SCRIP order form and return to the school office.
- SCRIP that needs to be ordered has to be in the office before 10:00 am on Mondays.
- Ordered SCRIP can be picked-up on Thursday or sent home with your child.
- On-hand SCRIP is available every day in the school office.
