Service Opportunites

St. Mary’s School community is bonded through prayer and worship. Mass, planned by our students and staff, is held weekly in our parish church. Children of all ages participate in Mass. Social justice is promoted by involving the students in activities such as trick-or-treating for the food shelf, school collections for the missions and those in need, and our annual Christmas Giving Tree where students purchase gifts for those less fortunate. Our semi-annual Student Seminar Day brings in speakers on a variety of topics related to social justice. Our parish is closely connected to San Lucas Toliman in Guatemala and many of our students travel to the mission to work with the people there.

Abigail and Annika are collecting travel-sized personal hygiene products to donate to families at University of Minnesota Health. These items will be given to family members and patients who were rushed to the hospital for care and did not have time to bring their own items. Items can be purchased off of our Amazon wish list using the link below, with the option to ship directly to St. Mary's School. You may also purchase items from any retailer and drop them off at school or the north entrance of St. Mary's Catholic Church. Please donate individually wrapped, new, and unopened items by March 26. Your donations are greatly appreciated - thank you for your generosity!
